The State of Mississippi is fortunate to have such an upstanding young man representing our state for the next several years. Please read the letter below and meet Jon D. Barnett!

Hello to all!

    The D.A.R.E. program in Lee County Mississippi is awesome.  Lt. Hall along side her colleagues, teach our 5^th/6^th graders about the effects of drugs and ways to stay away from drugs.

 Several years ago I was taught by Lt. Hall, whom would later receive the National D.A.R.E. Officer of the Year (2005). She has taught me many things that I’m still using today.

 The D.A.R.E. program is still effecting lives in Lee County as well as all of the USA. Now, I’m a member of the National D.A.R.E. YAB (youth advisory board). I now have the chance to work hand & hand with Lt. Hall so that I can help to influence my school and community, and I could not possibly be any happier!
